About JuSea
Freshness, Community, and the Taranaki Spirit

Our Story
Our story begins with Ruby Red, our little caravan, born in Taranaki back in 1975. For years, she was our trusty companion on countless adventures, taking us to the most beautiful and remote beaches across New Zealand.
During these sun-soaked journeys, something funny started happening. As we'd park Ruby Red, beachgoers would often wander up, hoping to buy an ice cream, mistaking our little caravan for a food cart. This happened so often that it sparked an idea: what if we actually turned her into one?
We returned Ruby back to her Taranaki roots with a dream in mind. The Liardet St Projects felt like the perfect place to begin. But instead of ice cream, we wanted to offer something different—something truly healthy and delicious. That's when we decided on cold-pressed juice.
From our cozy corner in Ruby Red, we began experimenting with recipes, pouring our hearts into creating the perfect blends. Soon, we expanded our menu to include freshly made smoothies. We were thrilled to see locals and visitors falling in love with our creations.
The incredible support from our community gave us the courage to take a bold leap. We decided to build our very own purpose-built juice bar, crafting it with our own hands. It was a slow and challenging process, but we got there!
Today, we're proud to serve our juices and smoothies from the space we built. We've even added coffee to our menu, using fresh, organic beans roasted by our friends at Escape, right next door. We are constantly experimenting with new recipes, driven by the joy of seeing that satisfied "juice grin" on the face of someone trying their very first true cold-pressed juice.
Our Mission
Our mission is to nourish our community with vibrant, wholesome, and delicious products while supporting local growers and fostering a culture of wellness. We believe that healthy choices should be easy and enjoyable, and we're dedicated to making a positive impact one juice at a time.
